Pricing & Payment
How much does aircon service cost in Malaysia?
At Mavis Eco Cool, chemical wash starts from RM130 per wall-mount unit, troubleshooting from RM100 per call, R32 gas top-up from RM150, new split installation from RM250, and ceiling cassette servicing from RM350. Pricing is upfront and unchanged from the WhatsApp quote — no surprise charges added at the end of the job.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash, DuitNow / FPX bank transfer, all major debit and credit cards (where supported), and corporate invoicing for businesses. We can issue tax invoices for SST-registered companies and provide official receipts for all transactions on request.
Do you charge a travel surcharge?
No travel surcharge for any postcode within Kuala Lumpur or Selangor. For Putrajaya, Cyberjaya, Sepang and outer Selangor, a small travel allowance may apply for single-unit jobs but is usually waived for multi-unit jobs. Always confirmed in the WhatsApp quote.
Services & Maintenance
How often should I service my air conditioning unit?
For typical Malaysian homes, a light service every 3 months and a full chemical wash every 6–12 months keeps a unit running efficiently. Heavy users (offices, F&B, families with small children or pets) benefit from quarterly chemical wash. Cooling towers need monthly maintenance.
What's the difference between a normal service and a chemical wash?
A normal service is a light clean — filter rinse, coil wipe, drain check. A chemical wash strips the indoor blower, drain tray and coil, then bathes them in a food-safe cleaning agent to remove years of mould, dust and biofilm. Chemical wash restores cooling like new.
How long does an aircon installation take?
A standard split unit installation takes 3–5 hours. A multi-unit home (3–5 indoor units sharing 1–2 condensers) usually completes within a single day. Complex ducted or VRF systems are scheduled across 1–3 days depending on scope and access.
What is cooling tower maintenance?
Cooling tower maintenance includes routine chemical dosing, biocide treatment, full strip-down chemical wash, fill-pack inspection, fan motor and drift eliminator work, basin cleaning, and pump servicing. We support DOSH and water-treatment compliance for commercial and industrial sites.
How can I improve my aircon's efficiency?
Clean or rinse the indoor filter every 1–2 months, keep furniture away from indoor and outdoor units, set the thermostat at 24–25°C rather than chasing 18°C, schedule a full chemical wash yearly, and consider an inverter upgrade if your unit is older than 8–10 years.
What should I do if my aircon is not cooling?
First check that the remote temperature is set lower than room temperature, that the indoor filter isn't clogged, and that the outdoor unit fan is running. If those look fine, the issue is usually low refrigerant or a dirty coil — both fixed in a single visit. WhatsApp 019-221 7190.
What is R32 gas top-up and when do I need it?
R32 is the modern refrigerant used in most Malaysian aircon units sold from 2018 onward. If your aircon runs but doesn't cool properly, refrigerant level is often low. We pressure-test for leaks, repair them, then refill with the correct amount of R32. From RM150 per unit.
Do you offer service contracts for offices and shops?
Yes. We offer 3-monthly, 6-monthly and 12-monthly preventive maintenance contracts for offices, retail outlets, restaurants, clinics, gyms and warehouses across KL and Selangor. Contracts include priority emergency response and a single consolidated invoice per visit.
Can I supply my own aircon unit and just hire you to install it?
Yes. Many of our installation customers buy directly from Lazada, Shopee or a brand showroom and engage us for the installation only. Our installation pricing (from RM250 per indoor unit) is the same regardless of where the unit was purchased.

Which aircon brands do you service?
Every major brand available in Malaysia: Daikin, Panasonic, Mitsubishi Electric, York, Acson, LG, Samsung, Hitachi, plus less common brands like Toshiba, Sharp, Midea and Fujitsu. Daikin aircon service KL and Panasonic aircon repair Selangor are our two highest-volume brands.
Do you handle multi-unit homes, condos and offices?
Yes. Most of our weekly volume is multi-unit work — homes with 3–6 units, offices with 4–10 cassettes, condos with shared outdoor ledges. We offer a per-unit discount on jobs of 3 or more units. Tell us how many units when you WhatsApp.

Do you offer emergency aircon repair services?

Do you provide a warranty on repairs and installations?
Yes. Every chemical wash and repair carries a workmanship warranty (typically 3–6 months depending on scope). New installations include a 12-month workmanship warranty, plus the manufacturer warranty on parts. Warranty terms are confirmed in writing before any paid work begins.
How long is the workmanship warranty?
Chemical wash and minor repair carry a 3-month workmanship warranty. Major repairs (compressor, PCB, fan motor) carry a 6-month workmanship warranty. New installations carry a 12-month workmanship warranty plus the manufacturer warranty on parts. All terms are written into the receipt.
Are your technicians certified?
Yes. Every Mavis Eco Cool technician is factory-trained on the major Malaysian aircon brands and works under our SSM-registered and CIDB-certified business. We're happy to share copies of any certificate or company documentation on request.
Do your technicians follow safety and hygiene protocols?
Yes. Our crews wear branded uniforms and proper PPE, mask up if requested, place drop sheets and floor protection before work, and tidy up afterwards. We continue to follow standard hygiene protocols on every visit, especially for healthcare and family-with-children households.
Are you a registered Malaysian business?
